Car letter I am very pleased to say that although Mark and I had a little argument last night we also talked it through and I realise what I have to do and who I've become. I really have turned in to a nasty piece of work; consistently angry and stressed and always looking for the worst in things. I am really bad I just can't describe it. I'm going to turn things around not only for the sake of my sanity but for my relationship and for Mark. Don't get me wrong I'm doing it for myself too. However with that all sorted (although I did cry myself to sleep again last night) I headed to my car with a slight headache only to be greeted to a letter slipped under my windscreen wiper. Dear car owner, Meh. I have every right to park down the end of the road I bloody well live in. The red area described is red gravel at the end of the road. It isn't an area that is off limits and shouldn't be parked on. I am not blocking any drives and there is access all around me. I only drive one car so why put that I have to park my cars on the driveway and since when did my neighbours get to tell me where to park? Seriously it's bugged me they had the cheek to put this letter on my car but not even sign it. I've got a fair idea of who it is, and my family have had a few hiccups with them due to their cat fighting with ours and causing a hell of a lot of injury and money on the health of our cat. It's no wonder they are now picking on me. The thing is I have been parking at the end of the road for the last 18 months or more so why suddenly write the letter now. Ok, I did park on the red area last night but I usually don't. It was only because the other areas were already used. The reason I think this has been mentioned is because the people who I think wrote the letter like to swing around and use the area I parked on to reverse back on to their driveway. I see that if they can't park on the drive way without needing a huge area to reverse then they shouldn't really be driving and acting like they own the road. There has never been any problems until this new household moved in to our road. Ah well. I've parked down there again tonight. I wonder if I'll get another letter. Honestly, the more letters I get the more funny I will find it and the more I will park down there and cause them grief. |
