Computer problems
07.03.2007, 3:02 p.m.

I have had enough of my computer. The desktop one. It has only just been sorted out and decked out with all new fast and fabulous bits, so why the hell is it still playing up?

I don't know what is wrong with it, but I know something is wrong with a USB port so nothing is being seen which is connected through it. I also know the internet went down and when I restarted it my monitor had turned itself off and wouldn't come back on. So I've had to crash the computer and try again but it's still not working. We've spent so much money on it and it seems just a waste. I want to scream and yell and cry from all the problems that damn computer has created.

The main problem with the computer, I think, is the game I play. This is what caused the problems today. I downloaded the latest patch for the online game and that was fine, but like normal when I tried to log in the files had completely wiped themselves and so it froze and the internet crashed. I copied over the files from my laptop which usually works but it didn't. The the USB thing messed up after using my memory stick I use to transfer the data for the game. After restarting the computer I found the screen black although it was turned on and now I can't see a bloody thing on it when I switch the computer on.

If it wasn't for this game it would work wonderfully, but I have to have the game on both computers so Mark and I can play together when he is here. How childish does this game make me sound?

For now it will just have to wait until Mark comes on Friday and I hope he can sort it out, although with a screen that doesn't work it might be a problem. The computer should just be lucky it hasn't been thrown out of the window!

Poor old Mark, he never gets a weekend. He doesn't get to relax and always has little jobs to do for me and now he will have this to deal with. Last week he helped me put up a new fence panel in the garden and then continued to mother me all weekend, now this time he's got the bloody computer to sort out yet again.

It's a good job I have my laptop, the computer is my lifeline I can't live without the internet and well, erm... yeah. I'm pathetic.
