Just a smidge early So, those flowers I bought mum for Mother's day and paid extra to have the delivered on Monthering Sunday, arrived today. Hmm. Why did I even bother paying that extra bit of money, especially when I don't have all that much floating around as it is. Still the tulips are lovely, they are in a really nice globe vase and a really pretty dusky pink colouring. They arrived closed but after an hour of two some of them already started opening up as it was quite warm, even if the morning did start off a little chilly here. Tomorrow the sister and I are cooking mum dinner so I'm hoping we won't be poisoning anyway although knowing my luck we will. |
