Rambles The dentist was fine. I was prodded and poked, had my gums felt and then had to pay £15.90 for the 5 minute pleasure. And to be told I have "lovely teeth". I'm quite pleased about that. I've never had anything done to them or any fillings so they are all natural. I must be doing something right. Work is still exactly the same, but I managed to keep myself occupied and my head down to avoid any disagreements. It makes it hard to work in that kind of environment. I don't spend 8 hours of my day to feel like I'm back at school again. I still haven't got my mask for the christmas ball. The money has been taken from my account but I still haven't heard anything from the seller. I know we had the postal strikes so am giving the guy until Monday for it to show up, if not I'll send a message then. A week is a decent time right? He may not have posted it until the strike was over to make sure it didn't get lost somewhere in the post. Maybe it will arrive tomorrow. Maybe not. Oh. Sue. She has got in contact again wanting to meet up. I'm going to have to dive head first and get it over with. All this lying and doging her is causing too many problems and there will be less hassle in the long run if I just meet her soon. I'd rather get it over and done with before it gets dark when I leave work and all I want to do is climb in to bed and read a good book, or diary! She is bound to go on about her new baby grandson and all about her. I have a plan though. I'm going to take a picture (or ten) of my dress and talk about me and what I'm doing and where I'm going. Hopefully she'll be too shocked by the fact I'm going to wear a pink dress and won't be able to talk, I can ramble on and then leave feeling good. Let's hope it works. |
